Ambassador John Bolton Endorses Kathy Szeliga for Senate

Location: Baltimore, MD

Former Ambassador John Bolton has announced he is endorsing Maryland Senate Candidate Kathy Szeliga.

"Kathy and I agree that Congress must make America's national security the top priority," said Ambassador Bolton. "She knows that the world is safest when America is a respected leader on the global stage. Unfortunately, under the Obama Administration, America's foreign policy has weakened our position in the world, while our enemies have grown in strength. I support Kathy because I know she will work to restore America's security and keep Americans safe."

Ambassador John Bolton served in key positions in several Administrations before being selected to serve as the US Ambassador to the United Nations by then-President George W Bush in 2005. Bolton began The John Bolton PAC to encourage more discussion of national security in federal elections and to promote those candidates who are committed to policies that prioritize America's national security.

"Whether it's the terrible Iran deal or the growth of ISIS or the situation in Syria, it is clear that America taking a back seat has only made the world more dangerous," stated Kathy Szeliga. "Ambassador Bolton and I both know the world is a safer place when America is strong and we are both dedicated to restoring America to a place of leadership in the world once again. And the best way to do that is to stand up for our allies and stand up to our adversaries. I am so pleased to have the support of Ambassador John Bolton and will continue to be a strong advocate for protecting our national security."
