Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Senate Candidate Foster Campbell has launched a statewide paid media campaign to make his pitch to voters. In the first ad in the series, Public Service Commissioner Campbell, who holds the Commission seat formerly occupied by Huey Long, doesn't waste time getting to the issues he thinks matter most to Louisiana families.

"Governor John Bel Edwards endorsed me because he knows I will stand up and fight for the people, to make healthcare more affordable, to increase the minimum wage, and to pass equal pay for women," Campbell says in the ad.

Campbell, a cattle farmer, former teacher and small business owner, is well known as a consumer advocate who won $39 million in telecommunications aid for victims of Hurricane Katrina, started a billion dollar trust fund for K-12 education to be spent solely on classroom instruction, and is a strong voice in the fight for coastal restoration.

Campbell leaves viewers with an essential component of his fight to help Louisiana families, a fight he's been waging throughout a lifetime of public service, saying, "It's time for the rich and powerful to pay their fair share, and for the middle class and small businesses to get a break."
