--"Joshua's Law"
Defining domestic abuse as a separate crime, this bill, cosponsored by Sen. Watters, gives targets of abuse needed protection and new tools for law enforcement.

--Paycheck Equity Act
This important act puts into New Hampshire law equal protection for women to receive fair pay for equal work, and it prevents employers from penalizing workers who discuss their compensation.

--Sex Abuse Prevention Education Commission
Working with Sexual Abuse Support Services, the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, abuse survivors, and District 4 advocates, Sen. Watters's bill establishes a commission to study best practices and make recommendations for curriculum and other programs in our schools.

--Code Enforcement
Sen. Watters worked with code enforcement officers and city managers to create a bill for effective enforcement for code violations, especially related to fire safety and property maintenance.
