Kathleen has been a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and has stood up for the rights of lawful firearm owners. Kathleen voted to ban local governments from infringing on our 2nd Amendment rights (2011, HB 45), and voted to protect the rights of gun owners complying with mandatory evacuations (2015, SB90). Kathleen will oppose any efforts to take away our rights to defend our homes and families. That's why she's a lifetime member of the NRA and has an A rating.
