Issue Position

Rural Minnesota is composed of countless hard-working farmers who continue to cultivate and harvest produce that benefits the food supply of our nation, not to mention our economy. However, rather than being allowed to thrive, Minnesota's legislature continues to make doing business harder and harder for them. One big area is how farmers are being forced to pay excessive property tax. With the prices being down, farmers are having a hard time making ends meet and they must have their property taxes adjusted for them to be able to continue to do what they do best.
