Agriculture is a fundamental part of our 12th District and state economy. Growers, ranchers, ag-related manufacturers, and food processors are some of our region and state's largest employers. They help feed the world with what is grown and produced in North Central Washington. Agriculture-based employers not only need stability and predictability, they also need less government regulation to continue thrive and flourish. As such, the legislature needs to be cautious to not harm such a key industry when policymaking. Additional taxes and regulations in our agricultural sector not only harm important jobs in our district but also drive up the costs of important food products that families depend upon. Brad has received the "Friend of Farm Bureau" award for his consistent support for the farm community. He will continue to support this key component of our local and state economy in the senate.
