Helping to create jobs and revitalize the economy the 12th District is a top priority. As I travel throughout the district, I consistently hear from business owners and employees, about how our regional economy needs to continue to grow and be less seasonal. We need to keep taxes low, and encourage innovation and investment for the long term.

We need to find ways of encouraging innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit by finding ways to provide incentives for investment, research and development in those industries where the 12th District has its foundations.

We need to help find new markets for the goods and services of the 12th District and find unique opportunities and ways to find these new markets.

We need to help ensure that taxes are not an unnecessarily burdensome for the businesses of the 12th District. There needs to be incentives that will help businesses create jobs and a sustainable year round business environment for North Central Washington.
