Issue Position

As a founding board member for MOT Charter, a participant in Junior Achievement, a youth football volunteer and an Eagle Scout, Kevin has always been at the forefront when it comes to education issues. He served as a board member of the Appoquinimink School District. And he understands the needs behind special needs education.

Kevin will bring much needed leadership to the Delaware House of Representatives to tackle the challenges our schools and children face in achieving quality education. He will bring a hands-on approach -- he will ask to be Principal for a Day in order to interact with students and teachers in finding solutions for our education system.

While Delaware's State Education Assessment, DCAS, claims that 70% of Delaware's students are "proficient", the SAT finds that only 20% of our students are "College Ready".
