Issue Position

West supports all efforts to continue cleaning up our communities from drugs but will advocate for even more effective efforts to rid our community of this plague. It is in the best interest of our communities to continue vocational training at our minimum prisons, teaching inmates a profession rather than releasing them on to our streets knowing they will most likely return to crime in order to obtain cash to live.
