Issue Position

I will honor our Veterans by ensuring that they are able to obtain the services and benefits they are entitled to. I will fight for the veterans that fought for me! When elected, I will ensure that quality, affordable housing, education/training programs, employment services, physical and mental health services, veteran's courts, and financial protections are quickly assessable. We also cannot forget our military families, and the strains they endure. When elected, I will create legislation that grants military families additional paid time off in order to visit with their loved ones serving in active duty. I will also strive to establish employee supplemental benefits, if income is lowered, for families of the Reserves or the National Guard called into active duty.
