I have worked for a quarter century for the Department of Transportation and understand how vital infrastructure is to the economy of this state and intend to bring a vision of growth to the General Assembly. Getting people back to work is important and infrastructure is a key component of economic development.

I will work to reform our tax code to further reduce taxes on families and small businesses.
I will work to continue the job the republicans have done in Raleigh to eliminate government waste in order to help provide tax relief on families and small businesses.
I support NC Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler's plan to grow the agriculture industry into a $100 billion industry.
I will continue to work with the Board of Education on improving our school system and fight to increase funding for improvements to our highways/secondary roads to relieve congestion so we can attract businesses to district 28.
