Issue Position

We're in the middle of an affordable housing crisis. Rents are skyrocketing, families are being pushed out of their homes, and some simply can't find housing in the first place. We need to take action.

Mark Meek is a big supporter of the Local Innovation and Fast Track (LIFT) Housing program, which builds new affordable housing for families with children who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. Once Mark is in office, he'll work hard to fund critical emergency housing assistance for homeless families and provide foreclosure counseling assistance to homeowners in danger of losing their homes. Mark also wants to create more public-private partnerships that focus on affordable housing to achieve his goal of housing stability for all local families.
