Young Applauds Expansion of Wind Industry Opportunity in Iowa

Iowa Congressman David Young today applauded the announcement of MidAmerican Energy Company's wind expansion in Iowa:

"MidAmerican Energy Company's expansion is great news for folks across our state and our environment. Iowa is at the forefront of wind production and a strong contributor to the renewables industry nationally, which helps our country lead in wind production worldwide. Today's announcement is an opportunity to further benefit our rural economy and Iowa job creators. I'm encouraged by this significant step which will greater contribute to meeting the energy needs in our state and the country."
