Issue Position

Our citizens and communities in the 17th district deserve a legislature that promotes the kind of public policy that encourages job and economic growth. In short, we need government to get out of the way of business by eliminating over-regulation while at the same time incentivizing entrepreneurship. This includes nurturing the kind of economic environment that will attract business development in the Kanawha Valley.

*Encourage local, homegrown businesses
*Attract in and out of state commerce to the district
*Provide business training and counseling opportunities to local entrepreneurs
*Will maintain and develop our infrastructure in order bolster commerce activity -- including improvements to roads and highways, rail transit and broadband connectivity
*Help entrepreneurs secure low-interest loans for capital improvements
