Issue Position: Promote our Strong Agriculture Economy and Products like Ethanol

Issue Position

Kentucky is a state synonymous with Agriculture, and as your representative, I will make sure that our agricultural economy continues to be a national example. I will help continue the success of the Hopkinsville ethanol plant, and fight government overregulation by Obama's EPA. I am ready to lead the fight to preserve our agriculture heritage and the values that a life lived in agriculture instills in us.

Part of what makes a stable agriculture economy involves an understanding between our rural communities and our cities. Our cities should know where their food comes from and support their area farmers. Through good weather and bad, our communities need to look out for each other. After all, we do not want to lose our Kentucky values.

We need to continue to grow a diverse economy and remain resolute in our desire to see Kentucky agriculture move forward. By being flexible to changing markets, improving farmers' existing options, and through developing products, such as Ethanol, we can ensure that Kentucky will provide good-paying agribusiness jobs for years to come.
