Issue Position

Social Security is one of the most important programs our nation gives its citizens. Over the decades, it has given millions of Americans some sense of optimism and confidence about their post-retirement lives. Today, this sense of confidence has eroded. The more revenue sources we can generate for the Social Security Trust Fund, the more robust and sustainable Social Security solvency will be.

When elected to Congress I will:

Not cut or privatize Social Security benefits.
Expand revenue sources for the Social Security Trust Fund by scraping the payroll tax cap.
