"Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund (PPMEAF) is the nonpartisan advocacy and political arm for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England in Maine. PPMEAF engages in educational and electoral activity, including legislative advocacy, voter education, and grassroots organizing to promote the mission of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England's experience in providing community-based health care to more than 42,000 patients across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont for nearly half a century informs the advocacy efforts of the Maine Action Fund. These efforts include advocating for changes in public policy, with a sharp focus on ensuring access to comprehensive, affordable reproductive health care for all. In partnership with more than 30,000 activists, supporters, and donors in the three states, we are able to advocate for health care access, promote effective education and prevention policies, protect a woman's reproductive rights, and challenge government interference in the most personal decisions of women and their families."
