I support and value all life but I do believe that every women should have control of her body and government should not be infringing on that personal decision. Organizations like Planned Parenthood provide many family planning and health care services which should be funded.

In Kansas we have been working for the last six years to reduce numbers of youth incarcerated but supporting with additional community services. We continuing to work to reduce on the adult side as well.

Kansas tax policy works best when there is a balance between,income tax, property tax and sales tax I support maintaining this balance. I support family leave but it has to be embraced by the organization to be successful.I think we already have provided financial relief for businesses I think there has to be more help for state and local governments because they will be picking up the pieces.

Kansas has high education standards and as long as the federal government is not funding the standards then we will use them as benchmarks. Our teachers will never be paid at the level they should for their education and time at work. I support a child who has gone through our school system should have the opportunity to attend our colleges as and in-state resident. Why do we want to have and uneducated work force no matter their status.

I feel the energy industry should be able to get the same incentives as any new business.

I do not see a conflict between second amendment rights and gun safety. This is a lethal weapon so background checks and training just help to insure that law abiding owners care about themselves and others.

Kansas passed the Governor's 10 year Eisenhower Legacy Transportation program and infrastructure is and important economic driver. I will work to protect this funding.
My top priority is commitment to protecting our investment in critical services and supporting job creation and economic development.We are on the right path for funding K-12 so I will be blocking any legislation that moves to reduce revenues.
