Ensure the safety of our communities through support for law enforcement. Leadership in the State House regarding solutions to transportation and infrastructure needs relating to rapid growth. Strong North Carolina schools and making sure that parents have choices in the deciding what school best fits the needs of their child - school choice. Lowering the cost of healthcare through free-market solutions; rolling back government mandates that stifle competition and healthcare options for consumers.
One of my top legislative priorities, other than public safety and strong education which I mentioned on the previous question, is helping small businesses get back on their feet with low taxes and making sure we have a pro-small business, job-creating atmosphere which includes regulatory reform initiatives. Small business owners, like myself, have struggled greatly during this pandemic and we need to make sure we get people back to work.
