Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I am running because it is time to turn the tide! Gloves off! Steve Smith, my opponent and the incumbent State Senator, ignores the truth - Republican stewardship of our state has taken Arizona to the bottom of most national rankings. Mr. Smith continues to place a higher priority on funding private prisons and private schools than on the safety and education of our children. It was his failed initiative to use private donations to fund a border fence, that once again, made Arizona look ridiculous to the Nation and the world.
