Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I'm Jacob Rosecrants, and I'm excited for the opportunity to be your representative! I've lived in Norman for decades and am a product of both Norman Public Schools and The University of Oklahoma. I have been a public education activist for years here in the district and in Oklahoma City.
My career as a public school teacher qualifies me to understand what parents and their children need from a representative:
Somebody who is fully engaged with the people of our communities.
Somebody who is willing to listen patiently to all members of our communities.
Somebody who is not only pro-public education but who is also an educator who can mulit-task and think of creative solutions to the problems we face in our district.
That somebody is me, Jacob Rosecrants. I'm looking forward to earning your vote on November 8th.
