Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I'm running for Representative in the 8th Congressional District because I am passionate about strengthening our district through economic development, creation of jobs, and building 21st century infrastructure. I'm a Democrat who believes in equality for all, especially women, minorities, and those caught in the economic downturn. I'm bringing my vast private sector experience in global markets and in negotiating tough deals to our nation's Capitol. I'll improve the writing of policy and the passing of laws that protect our citizens and workers while supporting our ability to compete in the global economy.
