Awards:
In 2015 he received the Matthew Baxter Mentorship award from the Philadelphia Chapter of AILA in recognition of his willingness to teach and guide students and colleagues in the intricacies of one of the most complex areas of U.S. law.
Priority Issues:
His platform is focused on creating a fair funding formula for school districts so that all districts receive the same amount of funding regardless of socioeconomic status, placing a severance tax on natural gas drilling and instilling a culture of responsibility in Harrisburg that places more emphasis on getting legislation passed than playing petty politics.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Joe is running to bring resposbility back to government. Our state government is full of career politicians, as the best way to see change for our state and city is to vote in a new voice. Join Joe as he fights for a progressive Philadelphia.
