Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I am running for the U.S. House to give all the people of Kentucky's 6th District an authentic advocate and voice in their government, and so that they know that they have a friend in Washington. I am running to address serious employment and wage disparities in our nation, to support the rights of women and minorities, and to be a voice for peace in a world torn asunder by too many divisions: religious, racial, and economic.
