"Like many Americans, I believe that we need to end the current partisan gridlock in Congress. I deployed in 2012 with a reserve unit made up of a diverse group of people from around the United States. Many of us had never met before our pre-deployment training, and we were able to come together and accomplish a successful mission overseas. I believe that Congress can do the same and we need to elect leaders who will stand shoulder-to-shoulder and put hard-working Americans above their partisan ideologies."
