Priority Issues:
Ensuring a quality education for all, increasing economic growth (particularly as it relates to jobs, job training and support to small businesses), and protecting social security and Medicare.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Capitol Hill is in crisis. We need new leaders who are not entrenched in partisan games, who are pragmatic and want to move our country forward.
I have worked for most of my 16-year career in some of the world?s toughest dictatorships, in politically difficult environments negotiating pragmatic solutions to benefit the average citizen. I?d like to take the skills that I have honed and use them to deliver results for the people of this district, who raised me, who educated me, and who are the reason I am who I am today. In short, to give back to my community.
