Reason for Seeking Public Office:

My entire life has been devoted to serving people. I deeply care for the welfare and success of our 1st Assembly citizens and take great satisfaction in our community's pride and accomplishments. Recently, I am disheartened with neighbors at odds over industrialized farming, decisions based on campaign contributions, an erosion of our beaches and clean water, a discrediting and defunding of our great local schools, a lack of state supported tourism promotion, and state leaders disrespecting local decisions. Most concerning is hearing young people, just starting their careers, expressing little hope for future jobs. We can do better than this. I am committed to trying.
