On completion of his junior year in medical school, he was selected by medical school faculty to be admitted to the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary society, one of only three juniors receiving that honor.
Dr. Bob has been honored with the Mayor's Person of the Year Award, the Interserv Volunteer of the Year Award, and the MERIL Community Partner Award.
The Dr. Robert R. Stuber Distinguished Physician Award is presented annually by Heartland Health System to honor an outstanding physician. The Social Welfare Board's Physician Volunteer of the Year Award also bears Dr. Bob's name.
