Reason for Seeking Public Office:

"I believe that our district is geographically positioned in a way to attract new economic development which could provide opportunities for employment to our children to remain here and not to travel out of state for better-paying jobs. We need to reduce the growing size of state government. Leadership should be kept local. We don't need a mindset that all problems can be solved by government, whether it be Oklahoma City or Washington DC. I will fight to maintain a competitive environment by helping lead workers compensation reform, lowering taxes and keeping property taxes low. Leadership isn't about a podium, it's about doing what is right no matter who is watching. We need to show the rest of the country that Oklahoma has not forgotten where we come from. That is why I'm running for House District 65."
