HB16-1071: Initative power for county and Special District Residents. Which gave incorporated residents of their county to initate ballot petetion. (Failed in Commitee)
HB 16-1126: Concerning the role of election watchers in connection with the conduct of elections
Voter Integrity: All-mail voting has meant that the responsibility of the "watcher" is more critical than ever before in order to verify in a timely and efficient manner, that a voter's ballot is recorded as the voter intended and that the voter is who they say they are (signature verification). The Watcher Advisory Panel developed changes to the watching process during the ballot counting process. I will carry the updated bill in 2016 to ensure the integrity of the vote.
