Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I, John Goya, local Businessman am running for State Assembly because I want to help bring CA back to its glory days. Companies are leaving CA at a frightening pace, taking jobs and our friends and neighbors with them. I want the streets safer in Long Beach, San Pedro, Signal Hill and Avalon for businesses, residents and tourists; not a haven for vagrants, gangs and felons. When elected, I will work diligently to establish an Enterprise Zone for JOBS, Audit Educational Funding, address CA?s poor school ratings & bring Art and Trade courses and more Sports activities back to all schools. Plus, guarantee that your doctor is your selection, protect Prop 13 and establish statewide NO KILL Animal Shelters.
Diverse communities we are, bi-lingual voices we speak. But, UNITED we must stand as Californians, in our desire to prosper and thrive. I take pride in our great State. Once elected, I will work hard and be diligent to address the needs of my constituents. I?ve managed budgets, negotiated Union contracts/agreements and worked with International Government agencies to solve problems. I have the skill set to make a difference in Sacramento. Vote GOYA,
