Priority Issues:
My top three priorities are: Making sure our law enforcement agencies have the necessary equipment and training to identify and stop domestic terror threats like the one that led to the deadly attack in San Bernardino last December; reviving a local economy by supporting small businesses that create good paying jobs; and working to bring back home more of the federal tax dollars paid by residents of the 27th district in the form of transportation improvements.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
As a former FBI Agent, I believe it is the primary responsibility of our government to insure the safety of its citizens from all threats including domestic terror. As a small business owner in the San Gabriel Valley, I believe Congress must do more to support small businesses, which create jobs and grow the economy.
Congress is filled with career politicians who are influenced by corporate and union money, ignoring the voices of the people. The incumbent Congresswoman has served in elected office since the 1980's. Over that same period of time, I have created jobs; helped dozens of businesses in the district and region expand; and mentored young people while working as a Reserve Police Officer. Our district is very entrepreneurial and home to thousands of first generation American business owners. Our district needs someone who is experienced and knows what it takes to run a successful small business.
