Priority Issues:

Jobs/Economic Stability: My top priority is to continue Michigan?s transformation to a knowledge based economy to create good-paying jobs across Michigan. Diversifying our economy will put us back on track for the 21st Century. Michigan needs a modern tax system and infrastructure to support the talent we have in our community.

Education: I moved to the 51st District so my four children could receive a quality education - something all kids deserve. Politics and personal agendas should never get in the way of providing skills our kids need. I will fight for common sense solutions to ensure our schools are funded, successful and relevant for the 21st Century.

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am running for State Representative because I know that with common
sense, honest leadership and concern for people over politics, we can
move Michigan forward. I am tired of the lack of leadership and results from our state capitol. We need people who know firsthand the difficulties facing our state. We must be able to provide an atmosphere that will not only educate our children to compete in the global economy but the opportunity to come back home and help drive Michigan?s future. As the married father of four children, I have the experience, heart and character to provide passionate representation to the peole of Michigan's 51st District.

Spouse's Occupation:

School Paraprofessional - Latch Key Teacher
