Father's Occupation:

My Father was a career Navy enlisted man. I learned public service and devotion to duty from him.

Mother's Occupation:

My mother was a lifetime work at home mother. While my father was serving his country deployed around the world she kept the home together and raised our family.

Priority Issues:

Our economy is struggling to recover. As a State Representative I have to do all I can to help businesses and their employees work through this recovery. The struggling economy has also resulted in a severe state budget short fall. As a legislator I will work to find bipartisan solutions. Additionally, we have lost many jobs in Ohio. As a State Representative we have to work together to keep those jobs we have and to find new jobs that will last. Finally, our local government has been plagued with scandal. As a legislator I will give the state the tools to come in and clean up the mess our current elected officials have caused or ignored

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

The people of Ohio deserve a public servant, not a professional politician. Too often the people who hold the job of State Representative are only interested in keeping the job rather than doing the job. Too often our elected representatives are only interested in representing those political allies who got them the job, rather than the voters who gave them the job. The working men and women of Ohio work hard for they money they make and the taxes they pay. They deserve a State Representative who will work equally hard for them.

Spouse's Occupation:

Michele has been a teacher, volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate, and Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children. She is an attorney.
