Grover Cleveland -- He was the last politician this country had that believed in liberty. He got us back on a Gold Standard. He was also a peaceful president, who believed in neutrality and kept us our of war. When he was governor of New York he forced every government contract to have open bidding, much to the frustration of politically connected big business. In short, he was the last honest president this country had who had the courage to stick by his principles and oppose lobbyists who would use the power of government to plunder for personal gain.

2 cats. Momma and Cali. Momma was a stray that adopted us a few years ago. She was outside sleeping in the storm drain one winter, and she became a regular visitor. She was a very respectable cat, who behaved herself and didn't scratch up the furniture or jump on shelves. Upon determining that she wasn't owned by anybody we took her in. She was pregnant and had three kittens. We gave 2 away and kept Cali. They're both spayed now. (Yes, we are responsible cat owners.)

Priority Issues:

Cutting taxes wherever possible -- specifically exempting food and other necessities of life from the sales tax.

Cut taxes by cutting wasteful government spending. There's a lot of waste and cronyism in the state government. We cut spending by requiring open bidding on government contracts, and cutting tax funded lobbying, and waste.
