Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Todd says, "Lansing's budget is broken. And Michigan's tax structure does not promote growth. Right now, we are dead last in job creation, including Louisiana, where a portion of the state was wiped out by a hurricane."
Todd's background in accounting gives him the best approach to fix the state's economy and force the state to live within its means.
But it's not just about the economy. Todd sees the moral decline that threatens to erode the foundation our country was founded on. Those principles include the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's why Todd says, "In the first 60 days in office, I will introduce a bill to end all funding for Planned Parenthood."
During the next several months leading up to the primary, Todd Courser will continue to meet with community leaders and private citizens to show them why he is the best candidate to represent them in Lansing.
Todd is a graduate of Lapeer Community Schools, as well as his wife of 12-years. They have 4 children, who attend Heritage Christian Academy in North Branch.
