Personal Hero and Why:

Theodore Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt was a maverick, a rebel, and a fighter. Roosevelt took on the powerful corporate interests and "robber barons" that bullied the ordinary American citizen. When we drink a clean glass of water, eat a healthy piece of meat or fish, or go visit some of the wonderful environmental treasures that the United States has to offer, we should take a moment and remember that we would not have a clean environment, safe working conditions, and mandatory public education for all children without the hard work, dedication, and courage of President Theodore Roosevelt. "Bully for you, Teddy!"

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

To be able to give the citizens of the 5th Penna. State Senate District a voice and a real choice. To be able to bring to Harrisburg a sense of the values of middle-class America.
