Blogging from the Bus: Ups and Downs

7 February 2008
Written by

Lots of activity with the bus since I last wrote. Let's see, the bus broke down in Colorado, we drove over 10 hours from Colorado to Utah, including a large stretch of Wyoming Rocky Mountains in a tough snow storm, talked to over 1,000 people in one day at BYU, had to chain up our tires on I-80 going over the Sierras (not fun), talked to a Rotary Club in Napa Valley, talked to college students in the Bay area, knocked over a stop light, spent a rainy, slow day in Santa Rosa, and bottomed out the bus at Bakersfield college.
Yes, an eventful two weeks, just trying to keep you posted. Right now we are in California trying to give a big Super Tuesday push. This picture of Richard Chavez, Dolores Huerta and Camila Chavez who helped make our stops in Kern County Possible. Stay tuned for updates.
