Vote to adopt an amendment to HR 5100 that directs the United States Trade Representative (USTR), with respect to negotiating a comprehensive new trade agreement with Japan regarding the automotive market, to commit the Japanese to voluntarily limit their annual exports of motor vehicles to the U.S. to no more than 1.65 million units, so long as the European community restricts Japanese access to its automobile market.
