Highlights:

- Requires that presidential preference primaries within each political party be conducted on the first Tuesday in February, or the date when greatest number of states hold presidential primaries [sec. 14 (1)], [Sec. 19 (1)]. - Requires the State Board of Elections to convene in Frankfort on the second Tuesday in December before a presidential primary to nominate all candidates who qualify for matching federal campaign funds [sec. 15]. - Requires that petitions be filed with the Secretary of State no later than 45 days before a presidential primary in order to be placed on the ballot [sec. 16 (2)].
