Vote to pass a bill to amend simple assault to include menacing or threatening behavior in the state of Wyoming.
Highlights:

Establishes any unlawful, threatening, or menacing conduct that causes another person to believe they are in danger of an imminent battery is considered single assault (Sec. 1).

Requires all offenses, under the aforementioned conditions, committed or charged on and after the effective date of this act to be considered single assault (Sec. 2).

Authorizes the act to be in effect on July 1, 2024 (Sec. 3).
