Vote to pass a bill that amends certain rental car laws in the state of Delaware.

Highlights:

• Prohibits rental car companies, shared vehicle owners, and peer-to-peer car sharing programs from recovering damages and charging administrative fees relating to the loss of use of a rental vehicle or shared vehicle (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that any car sharing agreement or other contract inconsistent with the provisions of this section shall be deemed void as against public policy (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that the provisons of this bill shall take effect August 1, following passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 3).
