• Authorizes natural organic reduction (composting) for human remains in place of burial or cremation (Sec. 2).

• Defines “natural organic reduction” as the contained, accelerated conversion of human remains to soil (Sec. 2).

• Requires the aforementioned process be undertaken by licensed morticians and otherwise approved handers of dead individuals in order to maintain professional decorum (Sec. 3).
