Title: Prohibits Corporal Punishment in Private Schools
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits corporal punishment in private schools.
Requires the Maryland State Police Gun Center to track all firearms surrendered through final protective orders, including (Sec. 1):
The number and types of firearms;
The jurisdictions where firearms are surrendered; and
Information regarding the individual who surrendered each firearm, including;
The individual’s age;
The individual’s jurisdiction of residence; and
Any other information requested by the center.
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect October 1, 2023 (Sec. 2).
