Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for the state transportation department expansion and congestion mitigation fund.

Highlights:

• Appropriates Funding for the State Transportation Department Expansion and Congestion Mitigation Fund

• Appropriates money for the distribution of state funds collected from sales tax to the following locations (Sec. 1):

• The state refund account; 

• The permanent building fund; 

• The water pollution control fund;

• The capital reserve fund of the Idaho housing and finance association; 

• $2,200,000 for each county in the state and $1,900,000 according to the population size; 

• $1 for each application for certificate or initial application for registration of a motor vehicle;

• 11.5% distributed to the revenue sharing account; 

• Replacement of property tax on farm machinery; 

• the demonstration pilot project fund; 

• Replacement for property tax on personal property tax exemptions; 

• 34,000,000 to each of the 44 counties by order of most expenditure; 

• Local Highway projects; 

• School facilities fund;

• Public school income fund 

• Establishes an emergency and that this act goes into effect immediately (Sec. 2).
