Establishes that after August 1st 2023, The meaning of child will reflect those who have not attained 17 years of age in reference to Louisiana statutes regarding violent crime only (Sec. 1).
Specifies that after August 1st 2023, the meaning of child will reflect those who have not attained the age of 21 if they have not committed a violent crime even if they are an emancipated minor (Sec. 1).
