Title: Amends the Duties of County Board Election Commissioner Members
Vote to pass a bill that amends the duties of county board election commissioner members.
Establishes that the supervision of election officials may be delegated by an affirmative vote of a quorum of all members of the county board of election commissioners (Sec. 1).
Requires that a county employee detailed as an election official complies with directives of the county board of election commissioners in matters related to an election (Sec. 2).
Specifies that a county board of election commissioners may assign to other election officials the supervision of election officials by an affirmative vote of a quorum of all members of the county board of election commissioners (Sec. 2).
Establishes that a county board of election commissioners may not change a duty delegated to a county employee if that duty is expressly governed by state or federal law (Sec. 2).
