Title: Requires General Election Laws be Implemented 6 Months Before a General Election
Vote to pass a bill that requires general election bills be implemented at least 6 months prior to a general election.
Requires the implementation date for any bill relating to a general election to be at least 6 months before the general election (Sec. 1).
Requires the appropriate election official to assign a ballot number for the proposed constitutional amendment on the election ballot (Sec. 3).
Requires the appropriate election official to set the implementation date for any bill enacted by the Legislature in a calendar year in which a general election is held and relating to the conduct of the general election at least 6 months before the general election (Sec. 3).
