Vote to pass a bill that amends parole conditions restricting who parolees can see and where parolees can go.

Highlights:

• Specifies that the conditions of every parole and mandatory supervised release are that the subject will not knowingly frequent places where controlled substances are illegally sold, used, distributed, or administered (Sec. 5).

• Specifies that the conditions of every parole and mandatory supervised release are that the subject will not knowingly associate with other persons on parole or mandatory supervised release without prior written permission of his or her parole agent, or not knowingly associate with persons who are members of an organized gang (Sec. 5).

• Exceptions to the previous highlight include if activities are related to community programs, worship services, volunteering, engaging with families, or some other pro-social activity in which there is no evidence of criminal intent (Sec. 5).
