Title: Authorizes Expression of Religious or Political Viewpoints in Public Schools
A vote to pass a bill that authorizes the expression of religious or political viewpoint in public schools and post-secondary schools without discrimination.
Authorizes students to voluntarily express religious or political viewpoints in school assignments (Sec. 1).
Requires religious and political organizations to have equal access to public forums on the same basis as nonreligious and nonpolitical organizations (Sec. 1).
Prohibits any religious or political student organization from being treated differently than a non-religious or non-political organization in the ordering of the public forums or in their internal affairs (Sec. 1).
Authorizes students to display religious messages on items of clothing to the same extent that a student may display non-religious messages (Sec. 1).
